Easy Earth Day Activities for Kids
It's officially Earth Day and we're sharing a quick roundup of a few of our favorites. From hiking to planting new flowers, taking advantage of the deals, attending an outdoor event, watching your favorite movie, or making fun crafts, here's how you can celebrate today.
Here are some of the best places to visit in Florida or Georgia to celebrate Earth day!
Zoo Miami’s “Party For The Planet”: From April 17 – May 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., take a trip to Zoo Miami for a mobile in-park scavenger hunt that takes guests through three educational missions to save our planet from environmental threats.
Earth Day At The Frost Museum: – There are events for all ages including its Virtual Live event in partnership with The Everglades Foundation. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 22, explore how Everglades restoration fights climate change. The Virtual LIVE @Frost Science speaker series will be live-streamed via the museum’s Facebook and YouTube pages. All Earth Day 2021 programming is free with paid museum admission.

Earth Day At Atlanta Botanical Gardens: Celebrate nature with your little ones in the Garden on Earth Day. Make a garden-inspired creation out of natural materials, watch special performances on the Great Lawn at 10:30 or 11:15 a.m., and hunt for beautiful art made out of recycled materials by our talented volunteers.
