Family Adventures in Cleveland & Teach My Toddler Tuesday at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Updated: Jul 12, 2019
This past week, we all took a family vacation to Cleveland, Ohio for the 2019 MLB All-Star Game. My father-in-law was chosen to manage the Futures Team, so Ricky and I decided it would be a fun trip before baby #2. It also gave us an opportunity to see family and explore a new city with Sofia.
She was such a trooper, enjoying baseball games everyday at Progressive Field and all the All-Star weekend activities that were taking place around our hotel (Fan Fest, Home Run Derby, Celebrity Softball Game, and the All-Star Game).
However, her favorite time was when we all decided to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I had no idea that Cleveland was home to this museum, much less what it looked like, so visiting was a lot of fun for all of us.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is about six floors of music history and is pretty easy for a few hours of exploration. What I loved most about it was that it had something for every age group. Although Sofia is only 2 she still was able to participate and enjoy a variety of the exhibits - from playing the guitar, to rocking out at the drums, recording her own voice and more!
It was a fun way to celebrate #TeachMyToddlerTuesday and share with my daughter what music legends came before her and even me. They had staff on hand to show her how to play various instruments, interactive exhibits where I could show her costumes, memorabilia, and art from legends of the past, as well as live music.
If you are planning on visiting any time soon, make sure you also check out a few other fun family attractions I linked below. They are all pretty close to each other too, which makes it convenient for family adventures. Plus, attractions like the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame have special ticket packages with locations like the Great Lakes Science Center. Here is what I mean - > Combo Tickets!
